Classified ground is split into pieces connected by shared triangle edges, with vertices quantised to 1 mm. Pieces remain separate across original mesh/material primitives. These are geometric components, not a guarantee of uniform physical behaviour.
Up to 32 probes per piece sample opposite sides of boundary edges, 15 cm from the edge. The checks use current physics surfaces, before gap recovery. Source surfaces covered by an identified upper layer are excluded; probes that fall outside a narrow piece are marked ambiguous rather than trusted.
Kerb steps and changes from asphalt to grass can be expected. Pavement height offsets over 8 cm, larger steps over 30 cm, and missing nearby support are review candidates, not confirmed defects. This is a sampled geometric analysis, not a driving test or an exhaustive search for cracks.
Previews are untextured source triangles, capped at 1,600 per piece. Green/red markers show physical support against the sampled source-plane heights.
